Garment Care Instructions

Our handcrafted garments are made with care by skilled South Asian artisans using premium natural fabrics. To preserve their beauty and extend their life, please follow the care guidelines below for each fabric type.

General Care Guidelines

  • Always check the care label inside each garment before washing
  • Wash embroidered and heavily embellished pieces by hand or on a gentle cycle
  • Use cold water and mild detergent to preserve fabric and colour
  • Do not wring or twist — gently squeeze excess water and lay flat to dry
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading

Fabric-Specific Care

  • Cotton: Machine wash on gentle, cold water. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp.
  • Silk: Dry clean recommended. Hand wash gently in cold water if needed; never wring.
  • Georgette & Chiffon: Hand wash in cold water, mild detergent. Do not tumble dry.
  • Embroidered pieces: Hand wash only, inside out. Lay flat to dry. Iron on reverse.
